How To Wear Leggings In The Winter

This article aims to explain how  leggings  can be worn no matter what the season by simply teaming them with an array of different garments.

For years  leggings  have often been judged as a garment that resides in the eighties era when wearing gym wear was deemed acceptable as every day wear. However, as times have continued,  leggings  have been updated with a modern twist to fit in with current trends.

For years prints and patterns have been a popular theme on the catwalks be it on clothing or accessories, this has now developed into patterned legwear and is becoming more and more popular. Being of a relatively thin-ish material, many people are often puzzled as to what season  leggings  can be worn in. Whilst some wear them just for gym wear, others appreciate that they can have a fashionable nature and wish to wear them as more of a fashion garment.

Coming in a variety of prints, patterns and colours it is often difficult to tell which  leggings  can be worn in which season. During the eighties neon brights were at the height of fashion, however now that the garment has been updated with a modern twist, neon colours are not so popular and prints such as Aztec prints and galaxy prints are proving a lot more popular.

Whilst the patterns which feature on  leggings  may go in and out of  fashion , the general design of the garment is here to stay and will probably be worn for years to continue.

It is obvious that summer prints or bright colours are probably not the best suited to winter, but autumn colours and darker prints often prove popular during the colder months teamed with UGG boots.

Whilst many people believe that in order to look dressed up on a night out you have to be in a little black dress and sky high heels,  leggings  are becoming a more acceptable form of outfit for a more casual night out. With crop tops being back on our shelves this year, many people are teaming them with leg wear for a casual yet appealing look.

During the winter months, it can often be a bit of a dilemma trying to find a clubbing outfit that will still keep you warm in the wet weather. Leg wear makes a great alternative to your little black dress and my incorporating on trend prints and patterns into your outfit; you can still channel a stylish and up to date look.

During the summer months, leg wear can also be worn. You can purchase different leg lengths including three quarter lengths which will allow a more breathable feel during the hot weather.
